That must be Michael Jarvis, Transformed him from a handicapper to elite Group 1 level.
There was plenty of top class completion at the end of that clip.

The guy who started Tongs career and managed him for ages posts on here.
Tong started at The Slammer back in the days along with lots of others...Gilles Peterson etc great times to grow up in the big 'G'

Ed Rush & Optical - Wormhole (the mixed CD).
My favourite late-90s album. Love 'Glass Eye' with 'Crisis' then mixing in. Best part of the mix for me.
Early-2000s stuff was great as well.

If you can't find a set with both Hyper D, and MC MC on it, then you're retarded.
And what does the state of the 'scene' have to do with his death? How strong the scene was before or after he died has more to do with personal choice in styles of Drum & Bass, than Stevie Hyper D actually being involved in it.
Personally, the best years were 93-96

The MC who used to MC with Steive Hyper D, was MC MC.
And Stevie Hyper D is generally considered a bit of a legend, and probably the best ever. Don't often hear people being negative about him.
